Secret smurfs at FOX Sports said that Fox Sports executives wanted to take the FOX NFL SUNDAY Pre-game show in a different direction,and that Jillian didnt fit the new direction of the show, which will take it on the road and away from the FOX studio lot due to accomidate main PBP man Joe Buck's new stripes as the new host of FOX NFL SUNDAY.
Sources also say to other media outlets that to save money and face within the NFL, the new direction will be up against a resurgant CBS NFL pre-game that added former FOXer James Brown to take over the reins from Greg Gumbel who returns to the broadcast booth.
